Privacy
Decision ThinkTank is an invite-only product operated by Finlayson Studio. This page describes what we collect when you use www.decisionthinktank.com. It is not legal advice and is written for early access.
What we collect
- Account email, name, and sign-in session (and password hash if you use credentials). Company and job title are copied from the access request when you create the account.
- Invite requests you submit (name, email, the reason you give, and company and job title if you add them). We send those fields to HubSpot so we can follow up. HubSpot processes them under its own terms. We also send the role you asked for, and later the access an admin grants: a normal account, researcher, admin, or denied. Cloudflare Turnstile checks request-access submissions for bots; Cloudflare processes that check under its own terms.
- Password-reset requests (the account email and the time of the request). Until reset mail is sent automatically, an admin is alerted in Slack and copies a one-time link to you. The link itself is not stored after it is issued.
- Decision content you enter — intake, answers, briefs, chat, research, and related artifacts — so the product can run models and show you results.
- Datadog collects browser usage (pages, performance, and clicks) and may record a sample of sessions. Form inputs are masked. Datadog processes this under its own terms.
Who else sees prompts
To generate analysis we send relevant prompts to the model providers you select (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Kimi). Those providers process that content under their own terms. Do not paste secrets you cannot share with those vendors.
Public research pages
Model Studies pages use committed research snapshots, not your live decisions. They do not require an account.
Deleting an account
A regular account can delete itself from the account menu. That removes the account and that account's decisions. Researcher and admin accounts are removed by an admin. Access requests stay in the admin inbox.
